Secret to our success? You!
Welcome to Central Broward Regional Park
The CBRP is a large municipal park located in Lauderhill, Florida that is owned and operated by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners. It opened on November 9, 2007 at a construction cost of $70 million and was funded on tax dollars. It includes the only ICC-certified Cricket Stadium in North America that features 5,000 permanent seats and large berms capable of holding another 20,000 with temporary seating.
The Stadium includes five international standard turf wickets, 90 yards of lush green outfield, eight flood lights poles for night games, a sound system, a giant digital scoreboard and a state of art dressing rooms. The Stadium provides a luxury air conditioned viewing area including internet, kitchen, concession area and meeting rooms.
The Park has an Aquatics Complex featuring an instructional swimming pool, an activity pool with modern play equipment features, a boat rental facility, four lighted soccer/football fields that double as two cricket fields with artificial pitches and courts for netball, tennis, and basketball. There are seven picnic shelters, two corporate pavilions, two shaded playgrounds for kids, two miles of nature trails, and a 10-acre lake that permits catch and release fishing.
You’re always welcome here. Come in and chat with us. We’re really looking forward to it.
